I am a physician-scientist and Assistant Professor of Neurology (Clinical Research) at the UPMC Stroke Institute, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. My research integrates causal inference, machine learning, and clinical trial design to advance individualized strategies in acute ischemic stroke.
As Founding Director of NeuroPrecision Lab and Primary Manager of the DUSK Trial, I bridge computational innovation with patient care. My doctoral thesis at Maastricht University focuses on precision medicine frameworks using counterfactual modeling.
I have authored several publications (150+, 3,500+ citations; h-index: 20+) in The Lancet, Ann Neurol, JAMA Neurol, Neurology, Stroke, and hold two provisional patents.
