I am a dedicated clinical research scientist based at the UPMC Stroke Institute, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. My central focus is enhancing personalized care for individuals experiencing acute ischemic stroke. I strive to transcend conventional treatment paradigms by integrating insights from rigorous clinical trials, sophisticated big data analytics, and the power of artificial intelligence (AI). My goal is to refine treatment selection, optimize procedural strategies, and improve the overall systems of stroke care delivery.

Research Philosophy

My work encompasses leading and contributing to significant multi-center clinical trials, developing innovative AI-driven tools to expedite diagnosis and treatment, and pioneering novel neurovascular devices. As a Founding Director of the NeuroPrecision Lab, I am committed to bridging cutting-edge clinical practice with AI advancements, aiming to substantially improve patient outcomes globally. Furthermore, I am passionate about mentorship and fostering international collaborations to cultivate the next generation of leading stroke researchers.
